there is nothing like holding your grandmother's hand.  when gerbabe grabbed julia's hand today,  it brought back wonderful memories of my grandmother's death.   sounds funny, i know -- but it was her last gift to us, and it was a beauty!  her life lasted 92 years (i hope that's right, or she'll be coming back to get me!), and then gathered us all around (minus diane -- sorry sissy), to show us a graceful and welcome death from this life....and birth into the next life with her Lord and Savior.    gram's legacy, without a doubt, was her love for Jesus.  i know she's still working on each and everyone of us still......5 children.....10 grandchildren.....many many grandchildren (thanks mostly to missy and me - 11 between the 2 of us!)...and now great grandchildren, that she probably cuddled and loved prior to their arrival here on earth!
all that -- from something as simple as a grandmother's hand.  it's in the simple things minus all the clutter of the day, that we can feel the touch of God's hand.

January 28th

HAPPY SNOW DAY~!

a quick introduction into my life.......

i am a Christian (can you say "Jesus freak"),  a wife to corey, a mother to lance, jessica, troy, grant, julia and gracie,  a colon and lung cancer survivor,  a lover of the children of HAITI,  a photographer ------- basically, someone who has been blessed beyond belief.  wow!  God is good!

right now, we are in a place we never expected to be!   with the recession and thousands of others, my husband was laid off in august of this year.  naturally, being optimistic, we believed God would deliver to our doorstep numerous thriving companies competing for the opportunity to employ him!.........oooohhhhh..not so much.  so here we are today, and we can still rejoice, because God is still good, and we are ONE DAY CLOSER to a new job!  it may be in a new state, it may be here; it may be today, it maybe in 6 months.  there are a few things on the horizon, and in the perfect time, there will be a job.   it has truly been a lesson, teaching the kids that every No is one step closer to a Yes!!!

and so.....my cozy, comfy lifestyle is up for a change.  i am hoping to create my part-time photography business into a full time business.  i have added framing to the repertoire, so that clients will be able to choose their photos, choose their frames, and leave the studio ready to hang!

so.......enjoy your day, it is a gift!
