there is nothing like holding your grandmother's hand.  when gerbabe grabbed julia's hand today,  it brought back wonderful memories of my grandmother's death.   sounds funny, i know -- but it was her last gift to us, and it was a beauty!  her life lasted 92 years (i hope that's right, or she'll be coming back to get me!), and then gathered us all around (minus diane -- sorry sissy), to show us a graceful and welcome death from this life....and birth into the next life with her Lord and Savior.    gram's legacy, without a doubt, was her love for Jesus.  i know she's still working on each and everyone of us still......5 children.....10 grandchildren.....many many grandchildren (thanks mostly to missy and me - 11 between the 2 of us!)...and now great grandchildren, that she probably cuddled and loved prior to their arrival here on earth!
all that -- from something as simple as a grandmother's hand.  it's in the simple things minus all the clutter of the day, that we can feel the touch of God's hand.

~ LOOK AT THOSE EYES ~
I love your writing as well and if a death can be beautiful - Gram's was. She may have shown me more about the importance of family through the grace of her passing than she did in her years with me ( and she showed a great deal about love of family ). Speaking of family - I'm glad that you're part of mine. Love Ya, Patty
